God desires eternal life for us so much that he gave the best of heaven, Jesus Christ, His only Son, to be the perfect sacrifice on Calvary. (put in col. 2:14 up to cross and Col. 1:20 A up to himself; 22) “For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV). So, give your heart to Jesus and live forever!!!
Forgiveness is an unselfish act of unconditional love. In order to experience the manifested presence of God and the ‘joy’ of the ‘Lord’ which is our strength, we must first experience ‘His’ forgiveness. In every believer’s life, the forgiveness of others precedes us being forgiven by our Heavenly Father. “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Matthew 6:12 (KJV).
Unless we forgive others unconditionally our prayer requests and sacrifices to God will be of no avail or unacceptable. “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother has something against you, leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way, first be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24 (KJV).
An unforgiving spirit is one of the greatest obstacles in the believer’s life. We hinder ourselves from experiencing peace, joy, healing and prosperity when unforgiveness blocks the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
The Holy Spirit clearly instructs us – “be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32. Also, “If any man have a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” Colossians 3:13 (b) (KJV).
Therefore beloved brethren in Christ, I employ you to love and forgive one another that God’s blessing will flow unhindered and encompass you and your loved ones as you follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ. “For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you.” John 13:15 (KJV). “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14 (KJV).
